Seems like the shoe is on the other foot now. ChatGPT builders and others are complaining that the S1 builders used their content ("distilling") to train their model, and large numbers of content creators complaining that OpenAI and other companies have scraped their content to train ChatGPT

The shoe is kind of on the other foot. AI companies complain that S1 extracted information from their AIs for training purposes ("distilling"), while content creators complain that AI companies used their content to train ChatGPT et al.

Curious why there is a focus on just fursuits. Our hackerspace has hosted a group that does great cosplay builds and uses many of the tools that other makers/hackers also use: laser cutters, paintbooth, sewing zone, eLab, craft zone, hand tools, etc. Is it more the community? Specialized tools?

2. Missed opportunity in "If some neurons never fire ... evolution should have jettisoned them ... But it didn’t." Humans are born with more neurons than they need. These are pruned over time when not used. Evolution developed a way to "optimize" the number (and connections) for each individual.
