Just spent an exciting week in Moncton at Atlantic Ballet Indigenous with the 9 young dancers joining Mawiamalga’tijig / Mawokahtine, Canada’s first professional dance training program for Indigenous high school students. I can’t wait to see what they learn on their 2-year journey.

After not being in classrooms for over a year, it was joyful to visit my niece’s K class where they created this lift-the-flap mural inspired by Over and Under the Snow. Always fun to work with books by @csneal.bsky.social and @katemessner.com
