The light, apparently, goes on the ceiling with sticky tape and magnets. I have a random thought that I should ask him how he plans to charge the batteries but then I just don’t care. Installing a ceiling light is somehow the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen him do, even though I watched him literally explode just a few days ago.

I'm not interested in that.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I've been out of the country for a while but thank you. This is my first book, written a looong time ago. I got burned out from queries, constant rewrites to please agents, lost my voice, put my m.s. away for awhile and now, I'm trying again.

I'll be off line for a while so I'm posting double and early of my #Cat and #Horse pics. Enjoy!

There's romance just not between them. My story was partly inspired from a few lines in the Silmarillion-one of Feoner's sons loves a human. She won't marry him thinking he won't love her when she's old and he's still young. Could she have changed him for the better?

Thanks! Eryna is a lot of fun to write because, sometimes, Rose needs a little smack down. They're rivals but not for love. Their story is enemy to friends, learning to walk in someone else's shoes. Seeing beyond the differences.

I placed my cap on it to give a sense of perspective. Someone said that it looks a bit like a #Yeti 🤣

What I love about this scene is that it's in an apartment complex only a block from the expressway in one of the top 10 largest cities in the U.S.

Migratory birds rest here. People rest here. Give nature a chance and it, and we, will thrive.

Rose tries, yet again, to milk Eryna for answers about Eeden, her parents, anything at all to do with Faerie.

She gripped the hoe, trying not to think how Eedan had warned her and she’d sent him away. As it came closer, she saw *red* stains on its horns. Eeden said he’d 'act as decoy.' Her heart squeezed. She couldn’t breathe. But she couldn’t think of him right now. The monster was here, at Woodman farm.

Love the Aztec reference! But I do think, maybe, there's a word missing or a typo- on with instead of on which? or just of?
I also love your title.

Awesome. We've all "seen" dragons before but that made me feel it for the first time. Really lovely description
