Ever wonder why cats are mischievously drawn to Christmas trees?
Maybe it's the call of the Yule Cat, a mischievous spirit from Scandinavian folklore, enticing them. Whatever the reason, cats are purr-fectly captivated by the twinkling lights and festive vibes! #YuleTreeandCats

The Goblin cave drawings and Goblin alphabet that Tolkien created for one of his Father Christmas's letters for his children.

Both were drawn in 1932 when he was working on "The Hobbit", and some of the creatures from that manuscript bled to his Christmas letters.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

#FantasyIndiesNovember 23. Imposter syndrome

I don't think I have any specific words of wisdom on it. For me, I just try to accept it. Like I am kind of an imposter here but so what. I'll write and publish and whatever will be, will be. I don't hold myself in too high regard.

Let's talk Chiyo Kirunaka, Eru gets enough attention.

I have an 8 hour meeting so a bit of a history yap on her leading up to why she was/is important.

Chiyo, during her mortal life, was a young Tuyo woman born around 17 years before the start of their "common era."
