I work at B & N, & shop at any indie bookstore I come across. I’m sorry to be working Sat. because I’ve enjoyed going to Independent Bookstore Day in the past. But what annual sale are you referring to? We had a bonus reward event for members last weekend, but I’m not aware of a sale this Sat.

This is based on the book, Between Shades of Gray, by Ruta Sepetys, whose books I love. The original title ran into a little trouble with its similarity to E.L. James’s Fifty Shades of Gray 😬.
