I’m almost sixty, live in Aotearoa with my husband, trans daughter, her girlfriend, two cats and one dog. Oh, I am a bit of a book dragon and read almost everything, however SF and fantasy is usually my favourite choice.
When I was younger we didn’t have many books in the house, but Mum would often take us to the library.
Mum taught me to read when I was seven (turns out I’m profoundly dyslexic, I was diagnosed with when I was in my thirties).
I was bullied throughout my school life; books were a way to escape.

We’ve recently renovated the house so I thought it would be a good time to catalog my books so I would avoid doubling up in the future, so far I’ve got to 2366. That is just my paperback fiction. That doesn’t include the hard backs, non-fiction, etc. Those thousands are still in the container.

There is plenty of proof if you look for it, and I’m not talking about was written in the Bible. Various Romans, of his time wrote about Jesus. Unfortunately I’m not knowledgeable enough to know where to find such information. Quite a few people have tried to disprove his existence and failed.

Trump has put a tariff of 10% on two small islands with a population of penguins - no people

Ok, a few quick shots of the few bookshelves, with unread books in the house - most of my books read, and unread and bookshelves are in the container. Also excuse the mess we are living in the back of the house as our bedrooms are being painted, carpeted, etc.

As are the bookshelves

How about book shelves of books; unfortunately I can’t take pictures as we are having renovations done to the house and most of my books are in the container.

It’s really good! I seem to be one of the few who like the last season - although it does seem slightly rushed. As for the ending, everything that had happened through the series led up to the finale.
The books are far better though. However, it doesn’t look the last two will be written.

I still haven’t read books I bought over forty years ago, but I’ve got shelves of books I intend to read. Unfortunately I’m a bit of a book dragon.

I enjoyed the series but I was disappointed with the ending. However, that was probably because I had just watched the last episode of ‘Ashes to Ashes’ and finished with the same denouement.

I actually liked the ending; I personally think it fitted the whole tone of the film.

I lived near a big field where I walked my two dogs. Crows would often be there and play with the dogs. They swooped down and flew just above the dogs heads staying just ahead of the dogs as they were chased. This continued for quite some time before the crows had had enough and flew off.

I find my allergy to new cats disappears after about three months. Before that if I touch my eyes after petting the cat my eyes swell up. I guess I develop an immunity to them. Wouldn’t be without either of the two cats I have though
