Well I know Holly is a Border Collie, and even though our Albie was described by the Animal Rescue as a 'mixed terrier' we think he has some collie/"sheepdog" in the mix!

Wow. First 2 episodes of Ploribus. Wow. Vince Gilligan doing some crazy sci-fi. I was delighted to see the wonderful Rhea Seehorn back on tv (I loved her performance as Kim Wexler in Gilligan's Better Call Saul), but this is much more like Gilligan's earlier work in The X Files. So far so good.

Loved The Wedding Present 40th Anniv gig in @dolanslimerick.bsky.social last night. Not a fan, but went thinking there'd be a nice nostalgic 80s vibe. I was BLOWN AWAY by this band. So, so energetic. So tight. Rachel Wood is the most amazing guitarist. David Gedge - constant member - now 65?! Wow.👏

It's a dark & wet Friday here in Ireland - & a fairly dark news day everywhere - so here's 55 seconds of "brightness", filmed from a little "tourist train" just last weekend in one of the many lovely public spaces in the city of Nantes, France. (A perfect "long w/e" destination - I'd recommend.)

I doubt that anyone on "old Irish Twitter" will remember this ( #speirgorm?), but on this day 5 years ago, I enjoyed my one & only "viral moment"(well, a couple of k 'likes' & a retweet from @corkbeo.bsky.social 😆),with this pic I took of a significant "typo" on a tv weather report. Simpler times.
