I just watched it for the first time. I was shocked by what appeared to be prophecy, as much as The Handmaid's Tale.

I am seething with rage, of course, and I have asthma and an auto-immune disorder. BUT, as a 30-year college freshman English teacher, I have to disagree that the document refers to people with... "as a dire threat" etc. The paragraph starts with "This." It is not made clear what "this" is.

I realized that I start every morning by reaching for my phone before I even get out of bed to see what tragedies happened during the night, which means I am starting every day with one foot in the emotional grave. Time to reset that habit.
