Personally I like to watch them on youtube on mute but I can see people not being too happy about that alternative haha

Then again, the issue of emission stays too given the need to charge all the drones (do they use solar-powered ones now??)

But I suppose if people are desperate for fireworks, reducing noise is the best we could do

Apart from the light pollution, I don't get why fireworks aren't more digital now with our new tech, we can put all sorts of patterns in the sky!

It makes me sad that people aren't even worried for their dogs' reaction to fireworks! And children are called difficult for hating the LOUD noise?

💚It doesn't help the light pollution, but it would be far far less traumatising if we could do drone shows instead! I have no idea how we haven't got to the point where they're used...
It's hard to believe people prefer fireworks to have terribly loud bangs (maybe because I'm extra noise sensitive?)
