Shit. I did not know he passed away over the weekend. A true icon, the man immortalized in Tom Petty's "The Last DJ", and a walking museum of FM rock radio history. He was one of the true artists of free-form, and I enjoyed his book "Radio Waves" immensely. RIP Jim Ladd.
