I went to pre-school and only got chicken pox, which I had during my birthday and Christmas one year. Finally caught German measles in 5th grade. I grew up on stories about my g’mother having mumps at age 40.

I don’t know much about the next generation, but my grandsons, 18 and 24, seem to be all right. One is a Texas A&M graduate, the other starts there in the fall. So they are somewhat intelligent. I hope that gets them a good start.

We only had baked sweet potatoes. My mil did butter, brown sugar, and pecans. I leave out the nuts since only my husband and dil like them.

We use Butcher Box. Scallops, shrimp, cod, and flounder have all been really good.

Love scallops and those look fantastic! Check the turkey wrapper; frozen turkey can be cooked. I’ve never done it, but there are directions on whole turkeys.

You’re right. Kind of the point, that Jesus was born among the animals, the Son of God who was laid in a manger. He came to save the world, not just some. The innkeeper had no room in the inn, but found a safe place for Him to be born.
At least that’s what I take from it.
