Right?! I love getting my autumn and Halloween deco and utilities out this time of year. I replace all my plates, cups, pillows, candles, cookie jars etc.

This weekend I tried oil painting for the first time.
It's not yet finished (some detailing and more shadow) but I'm waiting for it to dry!
It was quite fun and I think I'll do more!

🎃Spooky artshare for every day of October: Day 01
The 3 hags and their familiars, Hugo, Elias Greeves and the Crooked Man. I've painted these for The Crooked Moon, a TTRPG project I've art directed last year. The game is currently being shipped all around the world! Excited to get my of box soon!

Portrait illustrations made for the TTRPG project The Crooked Moon. The top left has a hag called Vessla Browntooth and her weasel familiar named Filthy Jasper sitting on her shoulder. Her eyes are small and pale and her nose is long, her mouth reveals a toothy smile much like that of a rodent. Top middle has the hag Golub Graygullet and her pigeon familiar named Peeping Albert flying next to her. Golub has pigeon feathers around her head and bird bones underneath her many chins. Top right has the hag Stonoga Blackstinger and her centipede familiar named Slippery Oswald around her neck. Stonoga has a long neck, a almost on existent nose and a very toothy grin. Bottom left shows Hugo, the first experiment from Matron Lethica, his eyes are sewn shut and purple tubes protrude from his body. The bottom middle shows an undead man called Elisa Greeves, a poor soul stuck between life and death on a casino steamboat. Little bits of flesh, some hair and a moustache is all that remains on an otherwise skeletal face. Bottom right shows the Crooked Man, a wicked servant of the Crooked Queen. He wears a top hat and reveals a creepy smile. The lettering in the bottom reads: Avantris Entertainment The Crooked Moon.

An aberrated elk made some years ago for the Grim Hollow: Aberration board game from Ghostfire Gaming. It was an interesting thing to study the elk's anatomy for this one.
