This is a long exposure photo of a stunning twilight over Newport Estuary as seen from the Iron Bridge in Newport, Pembrokeshire, Wales at high tide on 29 April 2025. The sky is amazing, with wispy horizontal clouds coloured in various shades of pink, purple, cream and grey. The sky - plus Dinas Head and Newport Sands in the distance - are reflected perfectly in the calm waters along with trees and vegetation on the banks of the estuary.

This is a long-exposure image of sunset at Newport Sands, Pembrokeshire, Wales on 26 September 2025. A headland (Dinas Head) is silhouetted against a dramatic sky, which is streaked with different colours and also reflected in the wet sand in the foreground. And the direction of markings on the sand, and one streaks in the sky in particular, lead the eye towards the nose of the headland.

Almost literally blown away by the power of nature…what a stunning and exhilarating sundown walk I had on the Wales Coast Path near #Gwbert in #Ceredigion last week.

This photo was taken at twilight on the Wales Coast Path near Gwbert in Ceredigion on 15 September 2025. It was so windy and stormy that it was very hard to stay upright. Waves are crashing over a cliff in the foreground, and it felt like they were trying to reach the stunning pink cloud which appeared to be suspended in the sky.

The River Teifi is cascading over large rocks in the foreground, forming a number of pools. A mill, dating back to the 18th century, can be seen in the middle distance, peeping out between tall trees silhouetted against the dramatic sky.

Looking towards Dinas Head from the Parrog in Newport, Pembrokeshire, Wales on 15 August 2025. The calm waters of the Nevern Estuary are in the foreground and, as they snake their way to the sea, they form a leading line to the headland beyond. The pink sky takes on a golden hue when reflected in the estuary, and the pools of water that can be seen on the sand add to the overall impression of a lino cut.
