Just wanted to share that I know things are hard, but there are pieces of hope to hang onto. If you lean on God, lean into Him harder rn. I have been & it's been a remarkable journey the last 10 mos. Ex: whatever I give away, I get back sometimes 30x over. Kindness & community will get us through.

The DOH is hit or miss. And we’ve sometimes waited a crazy long time there.

I’m thankful their yearly checkup is in a few weeks.

I should add that I tried to get their shots at a local CVS. We were politely turned away, but it’s just appalling how hard it is to protect our kids.

I think it’s pretty accurate to say that WE live in a shithole country and until we reckon with that, it’ll most likely remain a shithole country.
