If my bread gets dry I throw it in the freezer. My mom used to freeze the heels of bread and we used it to make Thanksgiving stuffing.

I watched her last night. She is on point with the monopolistic corporations of today. IMO this is the largest factor of increased prices and decreased quality in every aspect of life in the US.
