Formerly man of letters, now a key worker. Lately described as 'a young genius', more recently as a 'conservative, fantasy gamer'.
Post-thrombotic, which is less interesting than it sounds.
Retirement fund donations gratefully accepted. PM for details.
It has a PvP mode too, which I haven't as yet investigated (although I suspect it's infested with maxed out warbands which are perfected by people who have been playing non stop for a decade...).
It is really good. The AI is sometimes stupid, but it's also capable of acts of surprising cunning.

Quite.
It's really atmospheric. I never took to Mordheim on the tabletop, but given the computer game is pretty old, the graphics are great.
Complex layouts on multiple levels but reasonable to navigate when you realise the display has a compass ...
The fucking skaven are nightmarish to deal with.

Now we're being attacked by crazed chaos-worshipping zealots (bit like the Cult of Lardy).
Or, more accurately, we are leathering the living shit out of them.
Which is nice.
My main question though is why my heroes (left) can't wear proper uniform like my henchmen and leader (centre and right)

Just as well one of you will qualify as sentient...

I think I might have one or two of them still lying about somewhere.

No. 27.
I can't imagine why...

The thought of nitpicking your hives is too revolting to contemplate.

White undercoat?

Dodgy sexual tendencies and an eye for the main chance?

But the 1st Century BC is THE BEST TIME. You get more enemies than anyone else to fight. Arabs, Armenians, Britons, Gauls, Germans, Greeks, Iberians, Illyrians, Italian Allies, Jews, Nubians, Numidians, Parthians, Pirates, Pontics, other Romans, and of course slaves.

I think it's partly because for some reason figure manufacturers have tended to do 'Imperials' first and then 'Mid-Republicans'. After they've done those two ranges they feel tired of Romans and move on.
Granted there are some good C1 BC ranges out there now but the others do dominate

I don't quite know how to break this to you, Steve, but Midgard has been published for some time now... ;-)

Actually I see they come pre-attached to the torso so don't worry.

Thanks!

Tom, when you come to stick these together, would you mind posting a picture of one of the guys with spear and shield before you put his pauldrons on, please?

Lurking some supernatural horror?

I like the idea of the parts of both Elite and Green becoming modular. So Red Dice and Green Dice, extra deployment distance, even increased/decreased chances to be hit (situationally). It allows for very well led but raw troops and highly experienced but 'sticky' veterans.

I thought you'd know more about lying down with sheep

Steady on!
A joke's a joke but there's no need for personal abuse and slander!
'English' indeed!

Scoop it up in buckets and carry it to England to sell. You'll make a fortune (by Welsh standards)
