Nimmo is declining and now we have better defense at 2nd base. We’re now in play for Bellinger, Tucker or trading for Kwan.
Obviously if Stearns doesn’t upgrade or replaces Nimmo with a scrub it’s a terrible move.
Plus it gives Jett and Benge a better path for playing time when they come up
