Haha, actually, the husky is a mom herself. Got her from a rescue and she came "pre-loaded." Luckily, the rescue helped us home all the puppies and we kept the mom.

Also, just like the Manfred Man, one dude in the outfield would apply to both teams. Sure, the visiting team would score 8 or 9 runs, but what would the home team do? Also, would put more emphasis on a strikeout-oriented pitcher.

Another idea would be to subtract fielders instead of adding runners. You'd still have to earn your bases, but they would get much easier to earn.

I seriously don't care where it came from. It's dumb. For a whole game, you gotta earn every 90 feet, except if we have a tie and the kids gotta get to bed, then we just give them away.

I did research on this during the pandemic .... Slightly more than 99% of games in 1916-2019 ended by the 13th inning. So if you just called a tie after 13, you'd be talking 1-2 games per team per year. And think of the extra strategies if you knew for sure which inning was going to end the game!

More like just a generic helmet. You look at batters today in the minors, you'll see plenty of guys who don't switch hit wearing double-ear flap helmets.
