This was adorbs! The illustrations are perfection. I was transported to this happy little land for about 20 min, and it was fabulous.

Finished this up tonight. I almost DNF'd it twice. It starts out slow. It was a bit gruesome for me, and I had a hard time connecting with the characters. I liked the ending because it wasn't, "and they lived happily ever after." I definitely need some time to process this book.

After loving Babel, I was very excited to read Katabasis. I did enjoy it, but Babel was on a whole other level. Keeping that in mind, I read Katabasis quickly, and it kept my attention. I liked the story. The character development was good, but I just wasn't as invested. 3.75⭐️

The Enchanted Greenhouse was a perfect, cozy read for Fall! The magical greenhouses, sentient plants, and yummy food made we wish I lived on that island!!!
