Yeah pretty much! Granted the “going into a dangerous murder house” was never an option, I was definitely taken along on my share of situations I shouldn’t have been lmfao-so I can see Leo being like “stay here it’s dangerous” and Mikey being like “SPLINTER SAID YOU HAVE TO TAKE ME WITH U”

As a baby sibling to three sisters, I can say the trope definitely comes from the fact that younger ones want to do EVERYTHING their big siblings do. I used to BEG my sister to take me with her places, and would get her into trouble when she’d say no 😭

Ooh, I can see the straps/belts being color coordinated to each puppy! And the trims of the gear as well! Might make it easier for slash too if we were to say, hypothetically, a pup managed to get a piece of gear off who’s it was 😈

Raph also ends up being closer to Leo, often going on runs with him and (begrudgingly) sitting with him to watch Space Heroes if it means he gets extra pets and scratches!

And because he’s much older, he’s a lot harder to really domesticate-but Mikey is very helpful in keeping him calm and “being his voice” essentially. In turn, Raph helps carry Mikey around(being bigger) when his hands are hurting!

Then some years later they find dog/turtle hybrid Raph, who’s only able to growl, whine and make weird breathing noises. Upon managing to catch him and check him, he’s been debarked, and they ofc suspect the same person. All they can really do is try and keep him from trying to bark tho.

Imagining that instead of all four turtles being raised together it’s Leo and Donnie, but they find a kitten/turtle hybrid Mikey, who’s been declawed, one day and take him in! He ends up more attached to Donnie, being basically his cat since he’s always having checkups for his paws.

Oh yeah, I’ve written out entire stories in discord before haha! Really nice for keeping interest! Me and a friend once made a server for just the two of us to play out different rps in different channels(not to overwhelm ya! Just something neat abt discord!)

I may be a big baby scared of talking to tons of people so have no servers to offer, BUT I do recommend discord for any rp’s just for the (decent) word count! 😉👉🏽
