oh, i'm just the artist! my understanding is, the GM is chill, and they're using the large sized ancestry for the awakened animal (along with appropriate ancestry feats). there's no mechanical 'hydra' benefits, at least not yet - but it's a mythic campaign, so the GM might mock up something later!
