I’m so sorry to hear that Jared. I hope his memory remains a blessing for you for all your days

Maybe in the spring, a tree planted somewhere in PEI in his name would be a way to honour him in your new home

I have a family pc I built that runs windows and the kids at school learn on windows devices. We use Apple products otherwise so being familiar with moving things back and forth on that and getting the kids familiar has been the priority. Just ease of use until one of the kids wants to learn Linux

My friends, you bow to fucking no one

Ah, to be a senior fellow at the MLI. Basically a licence to write and publicly defend crank bogeyman theories from the right. They get to pretend that their always online brain cooked enemies are real
And they get to feel like they are giving solid intellectual rigour to the to those conspiracies

Worth noting though that while that swathe is large, the election (because the US is a goofy democracy) was decided by about 100,000 people in a handful of states for the last three elections

NIMBYISM and the fact that have to either order food or receive customer service from someone with a thick accent (which is a problem that is inversely in how it inspires insane amounts of loathing)

How do you find it compared Strava insights (if you’ve made use of Strava and that feature) I really like the Apple Watch integration with health and that Strava and Apple both give me good readouts and analysis on all my different types of workouts as well as sleep/HR etc

It shouldn’t be difficult for someone to choose Canada as a location and default to Canadian spelling etc

There have been tangential references as well as explicit (glass onion, mythic quest superstore and eddington belonging to the latter for example)

I think there that it’s possible to fairly read some current art as COVID adjacent/influenced such as weapons, pluribus (which is also an AI critique)

What a huge shame. This reboot was absolutely perfect. Wonderful writing and characters. My family loved the hell out of this show
December 17, 2025 at 9:41 PM
The switch 2 version is now showing as the same price as the switch 1…
December 16, 2025 at 2:50 PM
I can’t even see the switch 2 version on the Canadian eshop. It’s just the switch 1 version with the 50% discount

That said, the definitive edition is 75% off on the ps store right now (19.99 CAD)

He might not type it but it seems like he might dictate it and there are lots of moments when you can tell it’s a “trump” tweet or someone he’s given his handle to for them to tweet under

They had a lot jus for fucking? LA is just built different

In the end, we will all be Rousseau with variations on the theme

Apple one subscriptions have been a decent balance in this. I ended up needing to up my family plan for storage and paying an extra 2.50 per month gives access to the star, g&m etc.

kinda feels like we might end up broadly,
Moving towards bundled options and services that are brokered

Paywalls can also induce clickbait actions. Get headlines that bait people into clicking or give just enough of a story away and cut off access and then tweak the message to pay for access enough to 1 in x number to pay

It also backfires cause I just insert everything into a paywall remover now

Otherwise it’s taking someone else’s culture and piggybacking it to tell stories and give lessons that aren’t yours and that at a certain level you will not understand. It’s culture vulture stuff especially when the folks who made and ensured this game was authentic and representative can’t be seen
December 12, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Who informed the story? Where were the people who made sure it was authentic? It’s not that someone can’t make art about other cultures, i hate that idea on principle.

But to do so authentically and be able
To speak, depict and resonate a culture that isn’t yours is a shared process

💯
December 12, 2025 at 4:29 PM
I disagree. There are elements of Cajun culture in the game, would be pretty stupid to not include that I a game set in essentially Lousiana. Of course the folklore is heavily influenced and shaped by French culture, no doubt.

This is still a game primarily about black experiences and culture
December 12, 2025 at 3:54 PM
Need an Ontario/hockey centric AI mod that talks like people from letterkenny and others for joual, Martime dialects, Newfoundland speak and maybe even Toronto mans
December 12, 2025 at 3:34 PM
The game was not even remotely about displaced acadians and their generations

It was however very much about another displaced peoples and their generations

Wonder why that’s so hard for you to see or why that’s so easy for you to ignore
