Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

Hey Republicans it’s ok to condemn someone on your side if they do something wrong. It doesn’t mean you are saying everything is wrong (although…)But if someone clearly murdered someone, take that incident in isolation and review your processes. Otherwise you’re clearly condoning the behavior.

Today we won a big victory in Texas but the fight for democracy is not over. We all need to steel ourselves for the battles ahead. We won't win them all, but we can never lose sight of what we need to do to prepare fee and fair elections.

SNAP provides about $6 a day for food — which is just enough to help keep families from going hungry, but never enough to get ahead. If funds don't go out this weekend, millions of kids, seniors, families, and people with disabilities will wake up Saturday without money for groceries.

Talarico: if you read the new testament, Jesus doesn't spend most of his time preaching or teaching or even praying. He spends most of his time healing the sick.

Right now, we have politicians in congress with Christ follower in their Twitter bio, but they are kicking the sick off their health care

Everyone needs to know this:

House Republicans want to give trillions of dollars in tax breaks to millionaires, billionaires, and giant corporations—paid for by seniors in nursing homes, families trying to afford groceries, and kids counting on getting hot lunches at school.

In order to give $4.5 trillion in taxes to billionaires, Republicans are gutting:

Medicaid, which over 70M Americans rely on
SNAP, which 40M Americans rely on
School lunches, which 30M kids rely on
Housing assistance, which 5M families rely on

Outrageous.
