Today, I visited our local schools to drop off some sweet treats and show my support and appreciation.

The UCP’s refusal to bargain in good faith leaves parents scrambling as a strike is set to begin Monday, October 6th.

Across Canada, provinces are raising minimum wages this October to help workers.

In Alberta, the UCP refuses to act. Minimum wage has been frozen at $15 since 2018, the lowest in the country.

Families are struggling with rising rent and groceries while the government does nothing.

Unacceptable!

I had the great pleasure of presenting a scroll to the Army Navy Air Force Veterans (ANAVETS) Sir Winston Churchill Unit #3!

In the armed forces, they served Canada admirably. Now, as veterans, they continue to contribute in numerous meaningful ways to the community.

Today I toured the wonderful Rosy Farms where they grow tasty haskap berries!

I learned about the interesting research being done at the farm and about the great potential this little fruit holds.

Albertans experience budget whiplash as today, the UCP Government announced a $6.5 Billion deficit.
