I was not amongst the crowd on the side of the attraction anymore. Just 1 or 2 steps away from the complete lone darkness. I searched for a way to get back into the light and amongst other people. But he blocked my path and she was cutting the view too. /6

But she made me uneasy. I was being no more than polite. I didn’t know how to rebuff her. Before I could though, a definite late 40 something man joined us. The woman was very obviously paired with him to do the introduction, make a girl trust him more. /4

As we were 3, we took turns with one of us waiting on the side, while 2 sat together in a bumper cars. During my turn to wait along the side, I was approached by an Italian woman I at the time judged to be in her late 30s or early 40s. She was very friendly and complimenting me /3

My new friends were going, after the safe kids disco on the camping. I had a row with my parents, because they didn’t allow me to go with them, citing I was too young. As a compromise they allowed me to go to the carnival to go on the bumper cars with my friends another evening. /2
