Missed the nip! What an idiot. And what a shame that one of the league’s best players can’t stay disciplined enough to stay on the court. He’s like a vending machine. Push a button and he dispenses a reaction.

Who were flopping like mad and never got called for it. Another interesting one - what’s the call for basket interference from a free throw? Chester wanted 2 points but refs gave one. Looked it up myself and still not sure!

Chatman was a pillock for his first Tech last night but I’m not sure about the second one. Appeared to be on the receiving end of one but refs didn’t give anything. He reacts but is relatively restrained but then he puts his hand on the refs arm so assume it’s for that. Job done by Cheshire again

Should be celebrated. Crazy how these things can work bloody well and in great numbers when the right people are in place. Heaven forbid we had a unified and supportive governing body getting behind stuff like this and replicating it across the nation.

I think you’re spot on with Ashley. He absolutely doesn’t need or particularly want to buy a club like Wednesday. Unless it’s for an absolute bargain. He’s a very sensible businessman. He’ll lose no sleep if somebody else bids more and he misses out.

Hi Dan. Any chance you could talk about the venue for Lions v Glads on SNB please? Seems insane that LDN just signed an ex NBA player on big money yet they’re playing to a gym of about 50 people. Some talk of doing it to save on rent at copper box. Not sustainable if so & bad look for SBL & Lions

Superb article. Some really unique challenges explained clearly. Hard to say what’s best for the British game overall. Guess it’s always going to be an issue until we have clear pathway to get our best homegrown players playing in the domestic league, rather than overseas for better pay.

Flyers v Sharks on DAZN for me. Although wondering if there could be a triple ‘upset’ on the cards with all 3 teams favoured for a top 3 finish succumbing to their less fancied opponents early in the season. Sharks look especially vulnerable with all their injuries.
