I think about this a lot. Remember when we had a meritocracy? And you’re right - we admired people for their good values and deeds. What a world, eh. Social media and the media generally has a lot to answer for. These dangerous people should be no where near positions of power.

It’s amazing to me that people think someone can be smart when they exhibit no emotional intelligence whatsoever.
