One thing that is heartening is I feel like I’ve finally gotten sympathetic to past me. There was a solid stretch of time where I hated 17/18 year old me for letting all that shit happen to me - but I didn’t know better and had no power over any of it. Now I just want to give that me a hug

And how anxious it still makes me even though I know I didn’t do anything wrong, that I’m in a much better place and surrounded by better people now, etc…
