Speak up while staying safe this Saturday by protesting peacefully. Avoid confrontations with far right agitators by staying away from the parade route. Know your rights if you encounter law enforcement.

Swing Left NW DC joined fellow DC residents by participating in the @freedcproject.bsky.social lobbying blitz in the Senate office buildings to fight for our budget. Tonight, the Senate passed an amendment to prevent its catastrophic gutting.

While Senators deliberate unnecessarily gutting DC's budget, impacting public schools, police, & social services, you can send a message to the Senate by bringing your kids to the Hart Senate Office Building on Thursday at 10 am for "Recess at the Capitol."
