It’s the same for me. I just tried to express the difficulty I have with „liking“. I would rather share some tears. In the end I‘m twisting my mind and convince my myself that I don‘t press „like“, but sending out my heart.

I have the same thoughts every time. I want to express my sympathy and show that these tragedies get noticed, but pressing the heart button just feels wrong. In the end, I usually press the like button.

Und dann an den Beitrag von Oskar Lafontaine im Facebook, in dem er sich über Russophobie beklagt hat, und mich fast zum Erbrechen brachte. Es war eine große Überwindung nicht auf diesen Beitrag zu reagieren, um ihm nicht durch eine weitere Reaktion größere Präsenz zu verschaffen.

Vielen Dank für den Artikel! Es fällt mir schwer meine Gedanken in die wenigen Zeichen zu fassen, die hier zur Verfügung stehen. Einerseits denke ich jeder sollte diesen Artikel lesen, dann muss ich an die Empathielosigkeit in den vielen Kommentaren bei Artikeln zur Ukraine in Social Media denken.

Apart from the fact that the protests in Iran don’t fit into the world view of those who are the loudest in the west, it’s terrible how the Iranian government managed to suppress information coming out of Iran and how little coverage the protests get in western media.

Yes, I guess we tend to forget the part about the holy family having to flee to Egypt, because of a tyrant who was scared to lose his throne. I remember that, in my childhood, December 27th was the day of innocent children. But I haven’t heard this in a long time.

Den letzten Satz („Für Solidarität“) finde ich besonders zynisch. Was ist mit der Solidarität mit denen, die täglich unter den Luftangriffen leiden, mit denen, die alles zurücklassen müssen, um sich in Sicherheit zu bringen, nur weil das Nachbarland meint irgendwelche historische Ansprüche zu haben.
