When someone starts a conversation with "Hi," I usually send them a link to nohello.net. It's a great way to start, but sometimes people will invite me for a "quick call" or a "surprise meeting," and those are equally bad:

When working remotely, asking for help is often just a few keystrokes away. So it's tempting to "quickly" ask someone for support when you get stuck.
