By the way, during October - starting today - ingredients can now be purchased for Spookum's Week. They're not guaranteed to be used in the Backseat Cooking stream on the 30th, but they do guarantee that I'll have them available to be used during that stream. I'll have a schedule up for it soon.

It was a game teaching people about how to stay safe online and to especially keep safe from internet predators. It was from like 2005, I think? Obviously would need to run it on a virtual machine to make it work properly at this point.

So for like a full half-year I've been looking every so often to see if anyone has uploaded a copy of Web Wise Kids' MISSING onto anything. It's a game that I played in middle school and think it would fit as great spooky edutainment on my channel. If anyone could dump a copy, that'd be great.

went to my local CVS to get my flu shot and covid booster, and learned while there that i was also short my tdap, tetanus, and hep b shots
so i expected to come out of there doublevaxxed;
i am, instead, quintuplevaxxed. many viruses are flowing through my body right now. let's hope i don't feel shit

Absolutely devastated by this news. SpaceDrake was no doubt a huge influence in drumming up interest for Japanese indie games localized into English and pushing for them on digital distribution storefronts like steam. Huge loss. Might be time for another playthrough of Recettear in his honour.

@megabonk.bsky.social I earnestly ask that you give the humor a second look-over. Guacamelee! was a solid video game that earnestly had the preponderance of memes in the background of that game that was so embarrassing that they removed them in subsequent releases. You have the chance to do that.

@megabonk.bsky.social So like, your game has some strong, fun bones in the design with balance problems that you're probably fully aware of already, but I need to emphasize something that seriously, seriously harms my enjoyment of it and I hope you prioritize this:
The game is completely unfunny.
