direct db access in server components is great dx for hacky starters and then you’ll want to undo it more and more as your app grows and needs o11y/security/auth/caching etc

in my 20s i had a female friend where we were not romantically involved in but somehow got in the zone that we could text each other the most unhinged flirts and abuses and it would not be taken seriously and i miss that so much

Looots of blowback on 3.5 Haiku's 4x price increase decision today, esp as 3.5 Haiku does not come with image input support. a rare miss from anthropic.

it saddens me greatly that i love kids and family and may never experience this. a joy i can’t feel is a loss i cant even comprehend i have. and that somehow makes it infinitely sadder.
