All valid points, except maybe the senate vote to not impeach. If my memory serves me right, a majority of the population wanted him impeached after 1/6. It seems the Senate didn't follow the their constituents wishes. Do you think ranked choice voting would help with the election(s) issue?

Not sure I agree with your statement. Many, many times "the mob" has been on the wrong side of history. It was the minority siding with human rights issues, the majority was, well, "the mob"! Think slavery for historical context, marriage equality in recent times. No, not equating the two!
