Sounds from Outer Space (2022) - Space Cadets
i didnt realize i had listened to their EP before this, and i can feel some of that otherworldly production and line delivery on here as well. some songs are more engaging than others, but its a fairly good listen overall

BLISS IN THE MIDST OF UNCERTAIN TIDES (2023) - ❤️GOJII❤️
the word tide in the title is very fitting, because this album kinda just washes over me, not leaving a huge impact. maybe you need to listen to this at a part or something for it to make totally sense, but it was meh to me

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (2023) - Vince Guaraldi Quintet
since i didn’t do thanksgiving yesterday, i can do a classic today. a soundtrack with funkier moments than you would expect. the classics shine, but there’s never a dull moment

Garden Of Delete (2015) - Oneohtrix Point Never
i love that they bring in more electronic vibes here on this album, really helps being a new aspect that isn’t there on the other albums of theirs!

Replica (2011) - Oneohtrix Point Never
so much of this album feels and sounds like listening to the weather channel in the dead of night with a storm brewing outside. just pure vibes

Tranquilizer (2025) - Oneohtrix Point Never
i usually dock albums that dont have stand outsongs, but this is special. the flow and smoothness is unmatched. the sound mixing is amazing too, bringing in so many sounds that i would consider Y2K-esque along with so many others

Casiopea (1979) - Casiopea
an album that feels full of songs that would work on a Gran Turismo or Beastars soundtrack. nothing mind breaking, but still very very good

These Songs Are Cursed (1999) - North of America
there’s some really good songs in here, but most don’t really sink their teeth into me and kinda just flow past. not exceptional, but not bad by any means

The Great Annihilator (1995) - Swans
an album to dissociate and stare at the ceiling for an hour to. amazing shit. not a lot of memorable individual tracks, but everything comes together into incredible music
thank you @tetra.fm for the recommendation :3

Ride This Train (1960) - Johnny Cash
definitely suffers for being literally over half a century old in some of its content and phases. but the feeling it gives me at least, is what the rural american spirit was promised to be to me, and i find some sort of love in that

FAIRY (2023) - GABUISLOST
such a breeze of an album at 19 minutes and 9 songs, but god does it fill that runtime with peak music. absolutely amazing stuff!

friends (2022) - GABUISLOST
there are a couple standouts here in its short run time, but some are more generic sounding than i would hope. not bad at all, just a tad flat in places

Good For Your Soul (1983) - Oingo Boingo
feels more reigned in than some of their other albums, and i think that hurts it a bit. feels like there’s not a lot of big chances taken to me. still sounds good tho
