Consider this my formal apology with tears for my post yesterday. I thought this one was getting here on May 20th and I was salty 💀 #booksky #blackbooksky

This novella has stuck with me since finishing. It tackles grief and overcoming the loss of community from the lens of a trans woman in a tender way.

Good read for people that like character-driven & emotional stories. Check content warnings since it deals with difficult subjects #booksky

Aisle Be Yours - Nina High.
A Valentine’s Day meet cute on a red-eye flight. Will it turn into something more?? Such a fun KU novella that made me laugh and kick my feet 💕

Would recommend to romance readers still thinking about that hot person they sat next to on a plane but never talked to.

Deja Brew - Celestine Martin (Elemental Love #3). A witch stuck in a time loop enlists the help of a magician to get her mojo back. This spellbinding romance made me want a magician of my own 🥰

Would recommend to romance lovers that miss fall and need some magic & spice in their life

Unhinged - Octavia Grant. A novella of short stories written by an inmate in the same universe as Don’t Call Me Crazy. My jaw was never not on the floor while reading it.

Would recommend to people that have read Grant’s work before and have a strong stomach. Definitely check content warnings

Grabbed Rachel Bitecofer’s book after the election and just now finished. It makes you wish more people listened to her lol #booksky

The info isn’t new for people tuned into politics, but there are some interesting lessons about how to combat Republican messaging that are easy to grasp.

Here’s my physical tbr for black history month!! #blackbooksky #booksky

I’m also excited to get to some indie authors on KU, so we’ll see how much from this list I actually finish 🤞🏾

In honor of Booktok, what is a book you found because of Booktok that ended up being a 5⭐️ read?

Chain Gang All-Stars! Was skeptical because of the hype, but that book will sit with me for a long time. #booksky
