Here's the thing: we currently do not have free speech in the U.S. We cannot yell fire in a theater. Apparently we cannot say "defend, defund, and depose" to insurance companies. So why are corporations supporting lies as "free speech?"
Honestly, I don’t see how fact-checking stops free speech.
If anything, it protects it by keeping conversations grounded in truth.
Without it, lies spread like wildfire, and that’s not free speech—it’s chaos.
