What if climate change isn’t just about the environment - but about how we connect with each other?
Dr Marlee Bower explores the ways that climate change is impacting how we relate to one another and more - in our recent public talk.

Watch via our YouTube: srkr.io/63324g9o
Expert Insight: The Ideas Roundtable: Is Australia alright? Climate change is not just an economic or an environmental crisis, it's also a social one. “As many of you know, climate change batters down the environmental social kind of routine based and community based facilities that help us have really good social connection and live kind of connected lives.

We see that in our Indigenous populations, in Australia, there's an increase in solastalgia, that feeling of grief associated with loss of land, country and story.” "In Tuvalu and in areas like Fiji, research shows that people experiencing climate distress are more likely to withdraw from their communities and self isolate. But it's not just Indigenous communities that are affected.” - Dr Marlee Bower, Matilda Centre and Sydney Environment Institute
