If you really only care about the show, you could get by with just HR and TLG.
But all of the other 4 books add so much to the world around Shane and Ilya.

Ok bawled my way through the last like 8 chapters of The Long Game. Some really really good moments I hope make the show.
My one complaint is that there were honestly too many sex scenes and they were too long. I skimmed probably 75% of them in this book. They got very same-y to me.
