Same thing happened to me during DF. Someone commented to me that dark-skinned elves weren't canon and that it was just a player customization option. He challenged me to name one single canon dark-skinned elf, I mentioned Naleidea, and he stopped replying 🙃 Enjoy Midnight 😇
