A while ago I was able to work on something very cool - The Crooked Moon by @avantris.bsky.social. Today I recieved 1 of 2 box of goodies & recieved my author copy of the book! It’s all beautiful! I’m so excited!

I can’t imagine being so small and having that done. Popsicles for the win when you were small. That might distract me too!

I’ll really glad I didn’t ignore it or try to tough it out more than the 3 hours I’d already done so. Having it burst is so so bad.

Haha! This was a different kind of pain at least. lol. I was fine & then BAM. Middle of the night pain. Drove myself to the ER thinking they were going to tell me it was food poisoning. Nope! I won the lottery for appendicitis.

It has been a wild weekend. From celebrating birthdays to having a SNEAK ATTACK SURGERY to have my spare organ (silly appendix) removed Monday. If I don’t get back to people right away it’s because I’m recovering. I managed to get free of the hospital yesterday afternoon at least!

Fun w/Pandora last night. At 12am she was freaking out, licking her lips, & foaming at the mouth. So an emergency vet trip! When we got there, she was down to just drooling & very shortly after were in the room, she was fine. Lots of monitoring today. She’s pretty quiet but took a treat from Sammi.
