Oh, I'm not! Absolutely. There are no needs to defend generative AI in the use of crafting words on a page or art. I'm just saying that her article makes that distinction.

I don't know about that, because I just read it myself, and found that her exceptions for available use of AI are pretty much spell checkers, grammar, checkers, and sorting/ keeping track of plot threads. She also mentions uses by publishing companies for marketing purposes.

I'm amazed you're taking this with such a positive spin! As you say, you get to make jokes and critiques for a living while "Weirdo"'s only claim to fame is ... nothing.
