only after that can you take it to appeals tribunal where a judge and real doctors look at your case. and it takes months-years for your tribunal case to be seen.

i was one of those people. the dwp decided they don't owe me shit for months. the first appeals process you have to go through is their internal appeals service before you can take it to tribunal. where they once again decide they didn't get it wrong.

i have an autoimmune disease, and every time the government talks about making it harder to access these life-saving payments, or worse, taking money off my already-meager payments, i worry about whether or not i'll be able to survive until the next election.
