The desire to move to France increases daily, however staying with my family is prime. Keep on resisting!!!

So many of us joined this platform, but how often do we use it? Mostly politics in my home feed, not friends.

Just finished Tim Snyder’s book “On Tyranny.” What we could be headed for is nothing less than horrific.

Trump recruited by the KGB several decades ago? It would explain a lot. Thoughts?

Just finished Jasmyn Ward’s latest book, Let Us Descend. Just as evocative and beautifully written as her others. The evil injustice of slavery versus a young slave determined to survive and live her own life. Filled with the natural world. I ache.

Just got back from the HB283 hearing about cutting the state curriculum. After the sponsor of the bill spoke, giving a specious rationale, virtually everybody who spoke opposed the bill!
February 10, 2025 at 11:20 PM
Forlorn about all the nastiness, the dismantling, the transgressions, the selfishness and negativity. Now NH is trying to pass a bill that would cut significant portions of the curriculum including education about genocide, slavery and more.

This morning’s snow was beautiful and captivating.

Hello, I took down all the Christmas decorations, in case you’re wondering. Not only are national politics devastating, now the NH GOP is trying to drastically cut the state curriculum, HB 283. Where’s a progressive Democrat supposed to go?

Politics in brief
DOGE access: USAID's director of security and his deputy were placed on administrative leave after trying to prevent employees from the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency from accessing secure agency systems, sources familiar told NBC News.

My Christmas tree and other decorations are still up. For a while I was deriving great joy from it, but now I am just procrastinating. That listlessness brought on by the tanking of America.

Feeling heavy hearted as so much of what has been the best of our country is being flushed down the toilet.

This is at Great Meadow in Concord, MA where there’s one of our favorite meditation spots seen in winter and summer. We’re sitting on a bench and shedding the cares of the world, at least for a short moment.

Greetings all, is there a way to block a stranger from following you? I get concerned when people I don’t know follow me. How do you all feel about this?

I meditated on compassion and gratitude this morning and reflected on the heroic brilliance of MLK jr., yet thoughts of the inauguration and executive orders kept interfering. May we resist, obstruct and collaborate in order to make the fulfillment of their agenda fail. We shall overcome.

The end of another weekend, Saturday made me happy because of snow, dinner with friends and a jazz concert with Miguel Zénon. Today was a nice puttering day, dinner with other dear friends and leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Life can be simple, but sweet. What are you all reading these days?
