I think the biggest problem is that they chose to cut down the og version of this episode because I needed it to linger in some moments more, especially with scott but also with skip, so that I could feel the full arc of their relationship

we see a lot of the goodness kip brings to scott's life so I think it's a shame we see less of how scott is changing kip's life? we know the angsty stuff, but it would have been nice to see a positive side effect for kip

I wish they'd better shone kip offering scott an alternative to the hockey family he's depended on

imagine scott falling for their friendship through kip talking about them, scott always pressing for details about their escapades, scott yearning for that community

the comfort of having kip at his home and the joy of their relationship felt really natural and good,

the biggest miss for me in this ep is I felt like I needed more from scott, needed to feel the exhaustion of not coming out on a deeper level even pre-kip

kip is gay in such a casual mundane way that is *deeply* refreshing

I love kip's little gay sports bar with his gay friends who all rib each other and his beautifully groomed chest hair that tv never shows and his million service jobs before grad art school
