A computer that I thought was broken actually just had a single bad 256M ECC DIMM. GPIB card, USB WiFi and hard disk drive transferred and we are back.

About to have another look at getting this working.

Marlow FM appears to be very broken indeed.

I've found it, but it needs some restoration before I try it. The I/O edge connector is a victim of my childhood soldering skills and storage in a shed for a while hasn't been kind to it (needs a new diode) but it doesn't look beyond saving.

SDRconnect really doesn't like communicating with my shairplay device. Every time it breaks for some reason it must create a new OS device - though these don't show on the system volume control - only in SDRconnect.

Here's the demographic breakdown of viewers of the ad, you can see how it's disproportionately shown to the oldest people. If they're getting a 10% conversion rate on these people that's a lot of money. There are many users showing variations of this ad, this is just one.
November 3, 2025 at 9:33 AM
The advertiser's sure you'd enjoy their products. Or rather, they're sure that they'll get some conversions, which likely result in further crimes.
November 3, 2025 at 9:26 AM
Here's how the ad looks. They always go for the top right slot, so it's close to where these icons would be. They're banking on the page being scrolled down slightly and the user not noticing the "fool facebook's image spam detection" watermark and size difference.
