If I thought I could keep up with this, I'd do it, but I would rather just mention some emrch I find out about every now and then as part of the other subsections. I think it could be something we cover later on the dedicated domain if I get some additional authors/writers on board.

OpenVR Capture plugin is a thing that works fairly well.

You could also just open a SteamVR monitor window and capture that.

If capturing Meta stuff, the best option is streaming that to a browser or webpage. There was Air Receiver, but that constantly broke on me.

Well, it's a niche for sure, but VR headsets will totally evolve into AR headsets/glasses for virtual screens. Having that virtual theater environment is way more plausible than having an actual theater.

Valve's responsibility is to the players, not shareholders. For that reason alone, they should be trying to keep their legacy hardware supported for the foreseeable future.

Valve created the ecosystem. They should keep it going.

It is, however, the reason a lot of players refuse to play those games. 🤭 Fuck Valorant. Its anticheat nearly killed my previous CPU.
