If you're going to do Section 31, it needs to be a competent spy thriller in space.

Think all the cloak and dagger of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (2011) with The Conversation (1974). Set in space. All the while having a protagonist question his own morals after being forced to work with S31.

...it was good. Yes, he mostly erased some poor storylines from the previous seasons of Picard.

It was enough to breathe some life into a dying franchise, especially a series that missing the mark overall. It left a lot of people wanting more from Matalas.

This wasn't that. It was pure Alex Kurtzman slop.

Section 31 misses the mark by ditching storytelling for flashy visuals and undeserved drama. It lacks the dilemmas and optimism that defined the franchise, turning it into generic sci-fi crap instead of the bold exploration of humanity it once was.

I get the idea of #Section31 — a covert operation hiding within Starfleet’s optimistic image. It’s not my favorite Star Trek twist, but it’s intriguing. The best use was in DS9, where it served as a clever tool to test Bashir’s ethics.

I want to be very clear. I love #StarTrek. I grew up watching Star Trek shows and movies. I have seen the best and worst of the franchise and have stuck with it through it all. But this, this is just AI written trash.
