I wish I could explain why all the turning animations were a massive pain the the back for everyone who ever had to touch them, but it would probably take like a page of text and it would barely make any sense.
At least it gave me the confidence, that if I could do those, then I can do anything.

Tho I don't wish the rig of the tentacles even to the people I hate the most. It's fun and games, when they just wiggling around, but when they need to stay on the ground... or worse: need to stay on the ground during the turning animations... yeah no...

This was the previous version... it's funny, because back then I was so proud of it, but now looking at it, it's so... bad.

I looks nice, but I was not anticipating the metric fucktons of problems this animation caused, when we had to do the "turn" version for it :D
I think because of that the matron was probably the hardest boss to make, so her animation look seemless.

By design it was meant to be a simple uppercut, with her front paw.
But when I blocked it it looked weird, because of the long arms of the matron. So I pitched this idea, that what if she kicks the player in the face insead? It took some persuading, but in the end we went with that idea.
