I'm not a native speaker, but I was under the impression that hoarding means to collect (unnecessery) things in excessive quantities, using your phone until it dies is the exact opposite.

re:collaborating w/horrible regimes, the dir. of Mephisto that got an Oscar, was revealed after the regime change to be an informant in his youth for the communist regime. And then we shrugged and he was forgiven. Hun is a small country, can't afford to lose a celebrity to small things like this.

It has some connection to the fact that the right recognised that conscience and soul is a drag, they developed a protection against protests: they just ignore it and nothing happens. I'm sure nothing can go wrong if some group rules a country without any kind of feedback from their subjects.

Judging by the war on drugs, politicians and the people are more than willing to throw away all common sense, science, sense of proportion, etc, if the cause is right, so I have trouble seeing the importance of doing it right for the first time. What bad would happen if we ban too much guns?
